What to expect from your boudoir experience?

I understand that a boudoir photo shoot can be a source of nervousness for you, and therefore I have listed all the steps of a photoshoot, for you to have the best boudoir experience with the most beautiful digital or printed memories! So here are the steps to take, from planning to the reception of the ordered printed images.

    Step 1

    Book your consultation and photoshoot

    Once you have decided to go forward to do a boudoir shoot with me, the first thing for you to do is to reserve a date for us to meet, get to know each other, and plan your day. This is free, and no cost is included in this stage!
    You book a consultation meeting with me for a call, either by phone or Zoom, for the day that suits you best. From there, we reserve your big day.

  • Step 2

    Pre-shoot meeting

    I want to know you and what your expectations are!
    We are going to look through what to bring, wardrobe, hair & makeup, and venue of your big day, briefly, everything you need to know! After that, all your questions have been answered, and you reserve the actual date of your boudoir shooting, which will last about 2-3 hours in total.
    There is a non-refundable retainer fee of $100, which is payable at reservation, and will reserve the photoshoot day for you. The rest is due 7 days before your boudoir shoot.

    Step 3

    On the day of the shoot

    Once you arrive, we will sit down to chat, have a mimosa or a glass of bubbly while we go through your wardrobe, and just get in the mood.
    Then it's time to change for your first outfit, and after that it's all about posing and shooting! All you need to do is relax and have fun while I guide you throughout the whole time!

  • Step 4

    Image reveal & product ordering

    You can choose your images in my gallery, which I will then prepare for you to have as memories in your album and/or as high-resolution digital images. I will edit some in colour and some in black & white.
    To best show off your images, you can order some high-quality printed, luxurious, handmade products, like albums, wall art, photo books and printed images. You'll receive the product and price list by email after the reservation of your date.

    Step 5

    Reception of your digital & printed images

    The finished digital images will be delivered to you as a finalized, private online gallery with a password.
    For the packages of printed images, I can either deliver them to your house by mail (extra fee) or we can meet, and I will reveal them to you in person. You'll receive the final printed products with a delivery time between 3 and 5 weeks after the image reveal.

At a my house

I do shootings at my home where I have a livingroom flooded with light but where optionionnaly I can create some darker and moodier pictures too.
I do shootings at my place only during the weekdays.

At your home

One great option for a photoshoot location is at your home, in the place that you feel the most comfortable and free. Maybe your home isn't apt for a photo shoot but someone you know has a wonderful house/ apartment that you can borrow for the day? Well, we can shoot there too! 
Is it a place with lots of natural light?
Is it a clean & decluttered house?

At a venue

You can also choose from not doing the shoot at your place, but instead opt for a hotel, Airbnb, or studio. The best place for a boudoir photo shoot is in a place where there's lots of natural light, furniture (at least a bed and a couch), some big, nice houseplants, and of course decluttered. 
While the focus of the picture is you, it is equally important to think about the background, and how it affects the overall effect of the picture.

Tips for getting ready:

• Arrive in loose clothing so that there are no marks on your skin.
• Make sure you bring the outfits you want to wear for the shoot. It can be underwear, body, nightgown, top, loose t-shirt or sweater, kimono, etc. 
• Don't forget the accessories (shoes, hair decorations, jewelry, etc.)
• Check that the underwear is suitable. Underwear should not be too tight, so as not to weigh you down.

Boudoir photography for couples and men

Boudoir photography is also for couples who wish to celebrate their union and sensuality, and pay themselves a treat of something beautiful and decorative. 
And for all the men, you have the right to invest in yourself and give yourself photos that reflects you! Men are sensual and beautiful, hairy and rough, therefore the posing differs from women's boudoir photography.
You can also give a boudoir experience as a gift to someone you love and appreciate for the person she/he is.
