About me, Ninja Häggblom

So, a bit more about me. I'm originally from Finland and ended up here in the Montreal area in 2001 after meeting my husband who's from here. I love to travel (I've lived in 7 countries) and I have countless unpublished pictures from my trips as I always travel with my camera in my hand! I've always been very adventurous, innovative, and artistic and never afraid of new... sometimes I see the outside of the box better than the inside!

Besides photography, I also am a graphic- and web designer, so I create and design websites, business cards, letterheads, logos, posters, flyers, etc. 
My area of work is on the North-shore of Laval, islands of Montréal and Laval, but if you are further away, do not hesitate to contact me! I do also travel shootings, if you're interested, contact me for more info.

My mission is to make you feel beautiful, sexy, wanted, proud, and amazing. Add to that, all the other positive feelings you might get from this experience!

My view on boudoir photography

In Finland, nudity has always been and is still quite a normal part of our everyday life which is why I'm so at ease with it. We see our parents, grandparents, sisters & brothers nude from birth to the older days mainly because of our sauna culture (fun fact: it’s obligatory to be naked in a Finnish sauna). Therefore we accept our differences easily by seeing other women's bodies from an early stage in life, we learn that bodies are individual in about every possible way, and for me, it is totally natural.

About me retouching your images?

I use two retouching tools, Photoshop and Lightroom, to create pictures with deep shadows, and sexy highlights, do some basic skin- and color corrections, and other minor improvements to the photography. I do not "take away weight" or other major alterations to the picture! If you have any specific imperfections you wish to hide, please mention this to me.
