What to expect from your boudoir experience?

I understand that a boudoir photo shoot can be a source of nervousness for you, and therefore I have listed all the steps of a photoshoot, for you to have the best boudoir experience with the most beautiful digital or printed memories! So here are the steps to take, from planning to the reception of the ordered printed images.

    1. Book your consultation and photoshoot

    Once you have decided to go forward to do a boudoir shoot with me, the first thing for you to do is to reserve a date for us to meet, get to know each other, and plan your day. 
    You book a consultation meeting with me for a call, either by phone or Zoom, for the day that suits you best. From there we reserve your big day.

  • 2. Pre-shoot meeting

    I want to know you and what your expectations are!
    We are going to look through what to bring, wardrobe, hair & makeup, and venue of your big day, briefly, everything you need to know! After that all your questions have been answered, you reserve the actual date of your boudoir shooting which will last about 3-4 hours in total. There is a non-refundable retainer fee of $250 which is payable at reservation and will reserve the photoshoot day for you. The rest is due 7 days prior to your boudoir shoot. You can reschedule your date once with a minimum notice of 14 days without penalty.

    3. On the day of the shoot

    For the hair & makeup, come with your face washed. Wear loose clothing to not leave any printed marks on your skin when arriving at the location. Once you arrive, we will start the day by doing the hair & make-up, have a mimosa or a glass of bubbly while you show me your chosen clothes and just get in the mood.
    Then it's all about posing and shooting! All you need to do is to relax and have fun while I guide you throughout the whole time!

  • 4. Image reveal & product ordering

    The image reveal is done after the photoshoot and from there you order the images you wish to have in your package.
    I will then prepare these images for you to have as memories in your album or/and as high-resolution digital images. I will edit some in color and some in black & white.
    To best show off your images, you can order some high-quality printed, luxurious, handmade products, like albums, wall art, photo books and printed images. You'll receive the product and price list by email after the reservation of your date.

    5. Reception of your digital & printed images

    The finished digital images will be delivered to you as finalized images package files. For the packages of printed images, I can either deliver them to your house by mail (extra fee) or we can meet and I will reveal them to you in person. You'll receive the final products with a delivery time between 3-5 weeks after the image reveal.

Tips for getting ready:

• Arrive in loose clothing so that there are no marks on your skin.
• Make sure you bring the outfits you want to wear for the shoot. It can be underwear, body, nightgown, top, loose t-shirt or sweater, jeans, cardigan, kimono, etc. 
• Don't forget the accessories (shoes, hair decorations, jewelry, etc.)
• Check that the underwear is suitable. Underwear should not be too tight, so as not to weigh you down.
